could I use the bare minerals mineral veil alone?

I have been eying the hydrating mineral veil for a while but I dont want to buy the foundation. What liquid foundation would look good under it?

Yes. I sometimes use it alone with out any foundation. I have really huge pores and this helps hide them. When I am just running out to the store sometimes I will buff some on. I strongly recommend this product.

concealer?

i'm looking for concealer; i've never needed it before because i'm finally starting to break out. i hear that the yves saint laurent touche eclat concealer is one of the best out there, but it's $40. is that a reasonable price? what do you suggest? i'm open to any suggestions in any price range, i'm just wondering if you've ever used the YSL concealer and what concealer you prefer. i prefer brands that they carry at bloomingdale's/neiman marcus but drugstore brands are alright too, just as long as they work. i use bare escentuals foundation/mineral veil too, if that helps. thanks!

The YSL concealer is pricey, yes. But it is good. Having said that if you are covering marks, pimples whatever I wouldn't use that one. It's better for under eye circles.
I think the Benefit concealers are great. Clinique make a few different ones with different applicators which are good.
But for my pimples I use a Napoleon one, I put it on under foundation and then once I have blended, I sometimes put a little more on if it has moved, then lightly dust with a powder.

What's the difference between Mineral Veil and the sheer All-Over Face Color?

Is the bareMinerals All-Over Face Color more shimmery?

Can someone who's bought both of these products please tell me the difference?
I want to try the Clear Radiance (sheer translucent glow).
So it's not adding any color to my face.

There are several Radiances out now, each a different color. The clear, I believe, has a bit of pink, but I don't think it will show pink on your skin. It's just a little bit of shimmer, to be used to add glow to your skin (with or without foundation). The MV is matte finish, no shimmer at all, and quite pale. I wear the #3 Medium foundation, and I find it too pale for me. I bought the tinted MV (it's quite a bit darker, almost like a bronzer), and I mix the 2 to get the right shade for me.

I have a pretty nice complexion. I don't ever use concealer or foundation. I'm interested in the Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil and wondered if anybody wore it alone? Does it give make your skin look translucent or airbrushed?

I'm not worried about it not minimizing pores or covering blemishes, I know the foundations do that, but I don't need it.
