What is the best product for decreasing under eye darkness/puffiness?
I have been waking up with puffy, dark under eyes lately. Are there any tried and true products out there to fix this? Could it be a vitamin or mineral deficiency? Are there any "procedures" to correct this? Someone told me there was a procedure that cauterizes the under eye "bag" and closes up the area so water can't rest there. Has anyone heard of this or know what it is called?
Most likely iron deficiency if they are dark bags - you can have surgery to fix it, otherwise I reccoment tea tree oil and cold teabags - always works for me!!
Mineral Eyeshadow Shimmer Mineral make-up? Eyeliner/Lip gloss/Nail Varnish?
I've just bought a mineral shimmer powder. I know how to use it as eyeshadow, but was just looking for tips on how to apply it as an eye-liner/lip-gloss/ nail varnish?
I know that you wet it, to make it eye-liner, but does anyone have tips on what sort of brush to use? Is it easy to do, or does it end up going everywhere?
I tried it out with a smidgen of Vaseline earlier - is this how you make lip gloss?
I would like to use it with a clear nail varnish, but how do I do this without ruining the rest in the pot? I am a bit wary of putting the brush in in case it drips and ruins the rest of the powder?
get a thin brush
its looks like the kind for your lips

I'm a really athletic/preppy person & love to try new things.
I use a ton of different make up but i can never seem to make it look good on me.
I have gray eyes and fair skin. Yes, there's a slight bit of acne once in a while but i use bare minerals to make it disappear. I would love to try new makeup ideas that include mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, & lots of flashy colors. I'm about to receive the 88 shimmer eyeshadow palette from coastal scents. If anyone has any ideas i would love some help. Thanks (:
Try bright fun eyes with nude lips.
Pair together colors you wouldn`t normally put together like blue and green:
rainbow eyes:
or orange and yellow: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohvG2J3NivQ&feature=channel_page
Another choice that is more subtle and sophisticated is pairing neutral eyes with subtle deep berry lips: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkzYko6ncuM&feature=channel_page

I have very oily skin and eyelids. I've tried eye shadow base, powder, foundation alone, foundation and powder, liquid eye liner, pencil eye liner, mechanical pencil eye liner, and every kind of eye shadow out there. I've tried Mary Kay, Bare Minerals, MAC, Clinique, Lancome, Estee Lauder, Merle Norman, and many organic lines but nothing seems to help. Shadow and liner come together to form a pasty line in the crease of my heavily hooded eyes. Eye liner under the eye, even on the edge for effect just settles in the crease under my eye that I've had since I was a teen. I've resorted to not wearing makeup because nothing seems to work. I love wearing makeup but the idea of having to blot oil off my eye lids and carry a complete makeup case around to re-apply everything is a very big hassle with an 11 year old and one on the way (3 months left!!!) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I'm sure you've probably already tried this, but if not, have you tried using witch hazel astringent before applying anything else? It doesnt over-dry the skin, as that causes your skin to produce even more oil. I'd definately stay away from any type of pancake type foundation and other oil based ones. Also, I use the bare minerals and take just a wee bit of shadow and mix with a wee bit of water to make my own eyeliner and it works great. Since it dries to a powder, it doesnt run. And have you ever tried Revlon Color Stay foundation? If not try the liquid kind. Hope this helps and good luck. One last thing, you might also try taking 15-30mg of zinc everyday. It works really well to ease up oilyness.

What concealer/powder do you not have to use icky foundation with?
I hate how foundation feels on my skin but I have mild acne and scarring (my own fault for picking at it...ugh) that I would like to cover up.
I bought some concealer, but I really don't like how it looks...it's made by Maybelline and it's called Pure Concealer. It looked really fake and strange..hard to explain...
If you get Mineral Powder, do you need to use foundation first? This may seem like a stupid question, but I'm pretty new at this (I used to only wear eye make-up). Also, does mineral powder give good coverage?
Please help!
Thanks=]
With mineral makeup you can skip the foundation. I use Bare Escentuals. Avon makes an inexpensive version that is also good. I also hate foundation, but the mineral make up has great coverage and feels nice on your skin. It also helped clear up my acne.

i have fair skin , dark blond hair and hazel eyes and i cant seem to find the right eyeshadow color?
i prefer to use bare minerals but im not sure what eye shadow colors would look good . plus im looking for something that i can wear in highschool i really like the scene look but is it for me ? any suggestions? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP
you could go to sephora and get an artist and ask for a color eyeshadow. let me see you have hazel eyes, if you want you eyes to pop then try either green eyeshadow or pink eyeshadow. With brown eyes, you can also use blue eyeshadow, and if you have gold flecks in your eyes you may want to try an eyeshadow that has a gold shimmer to it. Brown eyes can even pull-off wearing brown eyeshadow, but be careful because certain tones can look muddy against your beautiful brown eyes. for example, almay has some special "hazel or brown" eyes colors. also, mac eyeshadows go to macys and get the artist to match you up or you could go online and get a livechat with an artist. and they match you up you tell them what color you have and they'll chose colors and you could also go to the store and ask them if they are the right colors for you.
