As you can see, the products listed are not at all expensive, but they work just as good if not better, than those of leading Department Store brands. I have tried all kinds and types, expensive department store brands and non-expensive drugstore brands. You have to find the product that works best for you and your particular skin type and tone. Sometimes breakouts are not caused by the products that you use, but sharing the products you use with others. Bacteria grows everywhere and anywhere, including on makeup brushes, counters, and those who you allow to utilize your makeup mechanicals.

So…......choose products that are great for your skin type and skin tone. Products that produces the results that you are seeking. It will be a task of shopping around, testing, and choosing. Do not make this task difficult, after all it is your face and skin that's at stake and you want to put your best face forward!

ok so i love to play around with my makeup! i really only use eyeline tho. you got any ways that i can play around with my makeup that look different but not in a ugly way? please tell me if you do and explain how to do it

Well if you mainly use eyeliner, you can always shape your eye differently with using just eyeliner. Your possibilities are endless

For example, you could make cat eyes or make wings at the end of your eye to create a more narrow or longer shape of your eye. Even changing how much eyeliner you put on or where you put it can change a lot. If you make the top a lot thicker, round the edge, and instead of putting it on the bottom waterline, you could put a thin line on your lower lash line giving the image of an 'anime-like' eye.

Random tip, If you use eyeliner and you want it to maintain throughout the day without smearing or wearing off, you can always use a black/dark brown eyeshadow. After lining your eye with the basic shape and size you want with your eyeliner like usual, take an angled brush, put a drop of water or eye drops on either the brush or the eyeshadow and use the angled brush & wet eyeshadow as sort of a liquid liner. After that, wash off the brush, make sure it's dry (or use another angled brush) and then re-line it with dry shadow. This keeps your eyeliner on all day, its great. Shell Foundation today launches its ‘Enterprise Solutions to Scale' report which documents how the organisation has ‘catalysed' the creation of new scaleable and sustainable solutions to key global development challenges. The report shares both the success and the failure encountered during a decade of deploying enterprise-based solutions[1] to achieve scale of impact. The lessons are relevant given the poor progress towards the UN Millennium Development Goals.

Since 2000 Shell Foundation has pioneered an enterprise based approach that differs from traditional corporate philanthropy, which is based upon establishing new partners with new ways of working that from the outset target scale of impact and financial viability. By applying business thinking, models and disciplines Shell Foundation has created four strategic partners that are achieving scale. These partners work on markedly different issues –  sustainable transport, growing small enterprises in Africa, reducing indoor air pollution and promoting ethical trade – but share commonalities around the difficulty of the challenge.

Shell Foundation has invested "more than money" over the past ten years in its efforts to achieve scale. In its inception phase, when Shell Foundation provided short-term project-based support to multiple not-for-profit organizations, 80% of its initiatives failed to achieve scale or sustainability either due to poor execution or to lack of market demand for the proffered products and services. Quickly learning from this experience, Shell Foundation changed its strategy to focus on co-developing new business models with new strategic partners, with the result that 80% of its funds have achieved scale and in so doing, leveraged an additional .2 billion in finance.

Chris West, Director of the Shell Foundation, said: "Achieving truly scaleable and sustainable outcomes is not easy. It takes a huge amount of time, investment and patience. In this report, we are not claiming that we have all the answers. But we have identified some common features underpinning the success of some of our partnerships. We have learned a great deal from both our success and our failure and hope that by sharing our experience, we can help others avoid making the same mistakes."

The key findings of the report include:

The need to catalyse disruptive change through ‘Angel Philanthropy' – In every instance where Shell Foundation succeeded in building partnerships that have achieved scale it has been with newly created entities that it has helped co-found, using new business models that it has co-developed.
 

The importance of building sectoral partners – catalysing large-scale change is hard and, whether with for-profit or not-for profit partners, requires providing "more than money" and takes time, patience and considerable investment.

Moving from subsidy to earned income – targeting financial viability means less reliance on aid, growth benefits more people and the accompanying innovation means the enterprises are able to provide customers with more affordable goods and services

Shell Foundation outlines new and successful approach to tackle global development challenges at scale

Each of us has experienced blushing at some time or other. But the strange thing is that nobody has ever really discovered exactly why we blush.

We do know that blushing is a natural response which occurs spontaneously in anyone experiencing a powerful emotion such as embarrassment, anger or excitement, but we do not know why such emotions should produce this kind of flushing.

It has been theorized that perhaps blushing is a consequence of a primitive survival mechanism: sensing danger, the body is flooded with powerful chemicals such as the 'fight or flight' hormone adrenaline.

This has the effect of engorging and expanding the blood vessels, as an increased amount of blood is pumped freely through them. The blood vessels in the face, neck and chest area not only have a greater degree of vascularisation, but they are, of course, more visible.

We sense ourselves turning hot and becoming red - often while others are present - and this embarrasses us. It is this embarrassment that so easily and automatically feeds and enhances the flushing, blushing feeling.

Of course, there are other possible triggers for the blushing response. Medication, alcohol, menopause and exercise, for example can all produce a flushing of the face and upper body.

Also, the food additive MSG or monosodium glutamate - known as Accent in the US and Canada, and as Ajinomoto in Japan and the Far East - which is often found in convenience foods and snack foods such as potato chips/crisps, flavoured tortilla chips and stock cubes can produce a flushing response in some people.

Anyone experiencing blushing on a regular basis would be wise to rule out these possible triggers before looking for other causes.

Additionally, there is a medical condition called hyperhidrosis, which causes excessive sweating and reddening. This is entirely different from the common type of blushing that we have all sometimes felt and it is often treated by surgical intervention.

Normal blushing, however, has no need to be treated in such an extreme manner.

But there is a much more common condition which is a real fear of blushing called erythrophobia. As the name suggests, it is a true phobia. Erythrophobia is a form of anxiety disorder and is linked to social phobia or the fear of being humiliated or embarrassed in front of others.

Those experiencing erythrophobia feel completely powerless over their blushing and have the tendency to focus on their blushing to such an extent that they commonly enter into situations - socially or at work - where they expect to blush. It is this expectation that they will blush in certain situations that so often triggers the blush response itself. And once started, it simply escalates.

The medical response may be to prescribe beta-blockers in an attempt to block the action of adrenaline.

Prescription drugs such as Prozac may be handed out in an attempt to make the situations that trigger blushing feel somehow less daunting. While some people have reported some success with these medications, there are other, less intrusive ways in which to treat blushing and flushing.

Foremost among these is perhaps hypnosis.

Working on the assumption that excessive blushing occurs in certain situations where others are present, it is seen as a form of 'conditioned response', a learned reaction that is the product of past experiences.

As such, this response can be unlearned.

In hypnosis, the individual can learn how to control their own responses to those situations which previously caused them to blush. In the hypnotic state of trance, techniques can be learned which teach the person how to bring down the heat and control the blushing and such techniques can be used at any time a blush feels like it is coming on.

It is worth remembering, of course, that no one specific approach can work for every single person every single time. But hypnosis certainly is one of the most powerful means of re-programming the subconscious mind and re-writing those programmes that cause a person to blush.

With hypnosis, the individual can learn how to turn down the heat and regain control of their blushing, greatly improving their life, socially and at work.

If you are experiencing the discomfort of regular blushing, then hypnosis - either working on a 1-to-1 basis with an experienced hypnotherapist or through the medium of an effective self-hypnosis recording - can put an end to this annoying reaction and put you back in control.
