Extremely Oily Eye Lids, Nothing seems to work?

I have very oily skin and eyelids. I've tried eye shadow base, powder, foundation alone, foundation and powder, liquid eye liner, pencil eye liner, mechanical pencil eye liner, and every kind of eye shadow out there. I've tried Mary Kay, Bare Minerals, MAC, Clinique, Lancome, Estee Lauder, Merle Norman, and many organic lines but nothing seems to help. Shadow and liner come together to form a pasty line in the crease of my heavily hooded eyes. Eye liner under the eye, even on the edge for effect just settles in the crease under my eye that I've had since I was a teen. I've resorted to not wearing makeup because nothing seems to work. I love wearing makeup but the idea of having to blot oil off my eye lids and carry a complete makeup case around to re-apply everything is a very big hassle with an 11 year old and one on the way (3 months left!!!) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I'm sure you've probably already tried this, but if not, have you tried using witch hazel astringent before applying anything else? It doesnt over-dry the skin, as that causes your skin to produce even more oil. I'd definately stay away from any type of pancake type foundation and other oil based ones. Also, I use the bare minerals and take just a wee bit of shadow and mix with a wee bit of water to make my own eyeliner and it works great. Since it dries to a powder, it doesnt run. And have you ever tried Revlon Color Stay foundation? If not try the liquid kind. Hope this helps and good luck. One last thing, you might also try taking 15-30mg of zinc everyday. It works really well to ease up oilyness.

I'm wanting to buy the regular (not the Pro) Mary Kay compact on-line. Does anyone know what combination of products it can hold? I'm specifically wondering if it can hold a blush and a mineral highlighting powder at the same time. Thanks!

what foundation is best for large pores?

Ok, so I have been using Mary Kay's mineral powder; but when I see myself in the mirror. All I see is my large pores and my wrinkles more noticeable. Can anyone give me advice as to what foundation I could use to minimize my large pores? Should I stick to powders only or powder and foundation?

I 100% Recommend Bare Minerals make-up. also called Bare Escentals. its amazing and great for your skin. I used to have bad acne and make up never covered it, it covers it really well and it helped my skin clear up (with the help of another regime too). Kay Mineral Bronzing
Anyone tried the new Mary Kay mineral bronzing powder?

I just did, and it was awful. I'm so disappointed because I loved the old bronzer. This one goes on all blotchy and uneven. Now I'm stuck without a bronzer. Any suggestions? (please, I don't need any MK consultants telling me I am applying it incorrectly... that's not the case... it just sucks).
