It absorbs immediately, without leaving a chalky white film, or a greasy residue. It also has a very delicate orange fragrance, very pleasant. Sometimes I wear a Prescriptives custom foundation and sometimes I use bare escentuals. I like knowing that whatever makeup I choose, with the primer underneath I'm getting SPF 20 protection.
