Resolve to get involved this new year
It's that time of year when a lot of us make resolutions — many of which last only a few days. 2010 offers you the opportunity to do something new and get more involved in the community. Some might say you can't do much here in Japan, because "No one volunteers" and "It's not part of the culture."

Magic and Sir Charles said one of them has got to go. T-Mac or Yao?

Who should Houston trade?
Err... Kareem and Magic were a great combo because Kareem had rebounds, blocks, and he opened up the lane while Magic delivered them open passes and shots. Yao, however, doesn't rebound or block all that well. Yao does open the lane but T-Mac isn't exactly a top-notch passer. He's great compared to Ray Allen and Kobe, but crappy compared to MJ.

The way that the rockets are built, they would probably be better off trading Yao. They could get alot more in return for him than they would get from T-Mac. Also, Yao cannot keep up with the uptempo game that the Rockets "try" to play. It doesnt work. If they traded him, they'd probably be able to get a good, high jumping, shooting forward, and probably a high draft choice as well. I think that would benefit the Rockets more than trading T-Mac. If they trade T-Mac, they either get slower, or someone in return who plays similar to his skills (outside jumpers and shots off of screens) and that really doesn't help Houston at all, they'd still be slow and looking for more help.
