Which do you think is better for a MAC: Neo Office, Microsoft Word, Or?
I jst bought a Mac pro and didn't buy any software for it! because i was jst going to use my other one.... but i need it for school...so what do you guys have on yours anything other than those 2? and how do you like it? did you pay for them or is there somewhere online where i can download them for "FREE" Thanks guys..
I think you'll be happiest with the genuine Microsoft product. The Home and Student version is inexpensive (on sale for about $100 at some places right now). Check with your school to see if they offer Microsoft Office for free (some schools do). NeoOffice is not bad, but compatibility with documents created in Microsoft Office leaves a lot to be desired. Shadows look horrible in NeoOffice, and graphs and charts do not fare well when going from one software product to another.
