what is all the hype with mac make up?

i used to spend out on clinique until i found this store missha and honestly the make up there is better quality and way cheaper! but i was on you tube and all these women making videos on the mac make up they bought and i am like confused about what is a mac haul and what is fafi and what is all this craziness about ?

A lot of people wonder what the hype is with MAC. MAC stands for Makeup Artists Cosmetics. It was a line that was originally made by a makeup artist. The products were cheap and the colors were incredible. They contained more pigment than what was available at that time and other makeup artists starting using the line....it caught on.

Seems like everyone just had to have Spice lip pencil. I always made sure I had one on hand. The foundations were great.

Then, the inevitable happened. They were bought out by one of the bigger cosmetic companies and it seems that some of the products were changed.

MAC still has some good products. Their eyeshadows for one. Their lip pencils and their super shiny lipglass.

Now, they do a thing where they introduce a collections that are limited.

It's basically to appeal to the part of you that will feel the need to "get it now before it's too late." So fafi comes in and fafi goes out. And...of course you don't want to miss out...so you go in, check it out, and come away with a MAC haul.

It's all in good fun...but honestly, there are so many products out there now to choose from. If you've found a line that works for you and you love the colors...then make that your haul!
