Change management is a process of changing both at organizational level or individual level. It's a systematic approach of dealing with change. Basically there are two levels of change management 1) Individual change management 2) Organizational Change management.

Organizational change management includes number of frameworks for strengthening organization and its revenues. In spite of organizational change management, most changes bring failures to many organizations. Few major changes bring failure to organizations: absence of a change champion is one of the major issue of failure,poor executive sponsorship, bad project management skills, hope rested on a one-dimensional solution,political infighting and turf wars, undefined organizational objectives. Organizational change management is a structured process which follows following principals:  Sponsorship, Planning, Measurement, Engagement, and Support structures(Change Management, 2008). In today's world, applying change in organization is like fraught with uncertainty but once it done well than it brings number of benefits to organization.Based on Pro sci research, change management is divided into three Phases(Change Management,2008).

1)  Preparing for change

2) Managing change

3) Reinforcing change

Change Management Process is not stand alone process it involves different related processes.Change management process allows managers to apply some changes for the betterment of organization. Effective changes bring great revenues and benefits to organization. Different models are designed for different situations.Cull out proper model according to organization's condition is one of the most difficult step.One can only take benefits of these models when best model according to organization's condition is applied at right time. According to JOHN P Kotters, eight principles for successful change are: Increase urgency, Build the guiding team, Get the vision right, Communicate for buy-in, Empower action, Create short-term wins, Don't let up, Make change stick. Proper change management brings success to organizations.
