What color eyshadow should I use?

I have pure black eyes, like the color of coal. They are really big, but I want to find an eyeshadow that will brighten up my eyes and open them up. I also want a color that complements my skin tone. I have tan skin, so.. yeah. Oh! And I mostly wear neutral colors, like green and navy blue... Thanks!

Try using an eye highlighter. Its purpose is to open up your eyes.
For shadow I would suggest jewel toned colors.
