false eyelashes for my prom today, how to apply, when, will they stay on?

i brought some MAC false eyelashes, although i didn't buy the glue as i was going to use my friend's later at her house.

though i've now found out you should apply the lashes first thing before the rest of your makeup so i might go down to boots to buy some glue to apply them with.

how do you apply them? and i start my makeup and hair at two in order to be ready by 4:30

but the actual prom doesn't start until seven. So, are they likely to stay on for the entire night? How can I make sure they do :/ ??

they will stay on for the whole night
i've been to quite a 'wild' gig and mine have stayed on
they should have instructions but if not something like
apply the glue along the base
close your eye and line the lashes up with the corner or your eye (inner corner, near your nose)
press down carefully but firmly then press down the rest of the fake lash following you eyelid carefully
you can use the end of a makeup brush to push down as well
open your eye and press your lashes against the fake lashes to make sure they're line up
apply mascara
