fake a tan bare minerals foundation?
alright i finally found a self tanner for my body that is good and doesn't turn me orange its the faux tan by bare escentuals. I use fairly light foundation on my face, and its the match of my skin color but i want my face to be as tan as my body but every tanner for the face makes me break out, so i was thinking i could use the medium tan foundation color on my face to match my body. would this work? i know the make up is great because i use it, but has anyone ever tried this and is it a good idea?

go to sephora.com they actually make a faux tan bare minerals kit for your face. also you may want to try the tinted meneral veil. i wouldnt change your foundation color. try the tinted mineral veil and use the warmth. or get the faux tan for faces.

Bare Escentuals Mineral Foundation Powder?
At the moment I am using the BE foundation in "Light" but find it makes me look a bit darker / tanned. I want to get a colour as close to my natural skin colour and the only lighter option in "Fairly Light".
Has anyone used both "Light" and "Fairly Light"? How do they compare?
A friend of mine said that the "Fairly Light" might have a more yellow undertone which I would like to avoid as I want to compliment my neutral fair skin tones.
Can anyone give me some advice?
Your firend is right, lighter foundations can have yellowish tones to them. You could always try mixing two colors. I have to do that a lot. It might balance out the yellow tone if you mix a "light" with a "fairly light" if they don't offer a lighter color without all the yellow.
