How do I fix my bare escentuals flawless face brush?

I used a lash comb to go through the bristles of my flawless face brush, and now some of the it is sticking out! Does it lose it's efficacy? Is there a way I can add moisture to it or something that will make it stick out less?

I agree with the previous poster, try washing it. You can use shampoo since it is made of animal hair, and you could add conditioner to soften it up a bit- just make sure that you rinse it really well afterward, gently squeeze out excess water, reshape it, and let it air dry (I dry mine by laying them flat on a clean washcloth or standing them up in a small glass).
