Does your makeup need to be in a plastic bag when its in your non-carry on bag?

for instance, if i put makeup in my non-carry on bag, the one that goes on the bottom on the plane, does my makeup in it need to be in a plastic bag or can i keep it in my makeup bag since its not in a carry on bag?

Oh, you can do anything with liquids in your checked bag. They have the baggie for convenience in security. If it's all in once place they can check that it's nothing naughty and then send you on your way, instead of asking you to take out each individual container. Security is long enough without having to do that!
