I found this formula to be quite chalky so the coverage was very light in some areas and blotchy in others, despite having used a primer. I used the shade M2 and it was very very yellow on me. There are not enough shades to choose from so I think it could be difficult for many people to find a good shade to match. Lorac has some great products, but this is not one of them.

I purchased this foundation thinking since its costly, and Lorac is a well known name, it would be well worth the price. I was completely wrong! Instead of it being called “Breakthrough Performance” foundation, it should be called BREAKOUT because thats what it did to me! I have purchased cheaper foundations at pharmacies and never had such a bad problem with break outs than with this one. Not only did it ruin my skin, when I did wear it it looked completely unnatural (very chalky and cake like) and it didnt last at all. I regret spending so much money on this junk!

…at the other reviews and also at how great this foundation is. I have purchased it several times over as I run out. I agree with another reviewer this is the first brand I found with shades to match my skin. The coverage is very good, evens out my skintone, but also seems to blend into my skin so it doesn’t look like I’m wearing a lot of makeup. I love this product!

…because this is the finest liquid/cream foundation I’ve ever used. SMS1 is the only color I’ve found (barring weird ones like Lorac’s Oil-Free Neutralizer which is a greeny-yellow shade) that matches my skin. The color goes on beautifully, especially with a Beautyblender, and looks like skin and stays looking great all day long. Love it. I wish they’d make this in the color of the Oil-Free Neutralizer.

I bought this because I went to Ulta and told them I have dry skin and I want something that is not powder, so they told me to try this. They color matched it on my cheek, and that was it. So i thought this is great. I went home and I put it on myself.

It makes your face feel stiff,
It gives you this oily look,
like your sweating. which is not pretty whatsoever.
It dries up starts to look really bad after a couple hours.

The only positive thing was the color matched perfect. Rating: 2 / 5
