Anyone recommend any teen books about romance/sex/drugs/supernatural/vampires/philosophy?
Name some and tell my why you liked them. :]
oops, supernatural/vampires/philosophy
Already read Twilight:]
Mind labeling what category the books fit in, like the types i've listed up there.
Just so it wont be confusing for me.
The Bible? huh?
No, I don't want to learn about people that have sex and do drugs and the consequences you will deal with if you do.
I want to read "storiessss" about people who do that stuff.
"rani & sukh" by Bali Rai
just read it and see.

Mineral makeup is a great alternative to liquid foundations. One of the most obvious differences is that mineral makeup is in a powder form. Application is easy to apply with a brush, but you can also use a sponge.
Mineral makeup is a little messy since it is a powder but once you get the technique the mess is reduced. Basically you load the brush, shake off the excess and apply using a buffing action. Coverage varies by the formulation and also your individual application method. Coverage can be sheer or built up for heavier coverage. A little goes a long way though because the individual particles are much larger than those in liquids. Application can be done with a dry brush or for a different effect you can use a damp brush. Be careful when working around creases and wrinkles. Minerals tend to build up in those areas and highlight them. If you have any dry or flaky spots you should moisturize before application since minerals will accentuate any dryness.
There are many women with sensitivity to some common ingredients, especially talc and bismuth. Read the labels and do some research when selecting the brand you want to try. Those with oily skin will most likely want to avoid products containing mica since this actually adds a little shimmery shine.
Mineral makeup is long lasting, waterproof and stands up to perspiration too. In addition to foundations there are mineral blushes, eye shadows and finishing powders. You can use any or none of this but if you are using mineral makeup in hopes of improving the condition of your skin it is a good idea to stick with a mineral blush and finishing powder. With any of these products you can mix and blend different shades to get a perfect color match. With loose mineral blushes and shadows you can also mix and blend. This is another aspect of the value you get with minerals. The minerals are a little more expensive than liquids unless you are using high end products. Minerals in general will last much longer than liquids and they don't go bad like liquids can.
Finding your foundation color can be a challenge but once you get the match you just tweak it a little for the seasons by blending a little darker or bronzer for summer. You can also use a little darker for sculpting, lighter for highlighting. In the end most people who give mineral makeup a fair trial period won't go back to the liquids.
I'm over 50 with a European background living in Western Australia.I have a block about mineral makeup, where I'm looking at it from a slightly unusual angle. To benefit from information on my blog go to: http://www.buyingmineralmakeupnow.com/

What Should I Buy at MAC Cosmetics?
I have about 100 $ to spend at the MAC counter, and I'd like to know what to get. I have the Pro palette x15, and have 12 spaces left. I already own All That Glitters, Amber Lights, and Shroom, and a lipstick in Hug Me. I have very fair skin, bright turquoise eyes, and goldish brown hair. Can you recommend a lip face, and eye product for me that falls into my budget? Thanks in advance for your input! XOXO

Mac Moistureblend
Anyone who is familiar with mac foundations???
I just recvd a mac moistureblend foundation in NC25 from Strawberrynet and I am questioning its authenticity. I have only been buying mac eyeshadows and lipglass from Myer and they have a sticker at the bottom with the colour the weight and they all say poids etc. This foundation has no sticker however it does have the reg design make-up art thingo written on the plastic. It didnt come in a box which i knew when i bought it. It is also airated at the bottom with little squares, it comes with a sponge in a bottom compartment. Im only asking because I dont want to put god knows what on my face if its fake. Thanks in advance
the container sounds like it's real....that's the way that their containers look...however since it didn't come with a sticker and i can't actually see the package, there isn't a for sure way to tell.
if you don't care about not having a true, authentic mac foundation and still want to use the one you have, i would test it out on the back of my hand to make sure i didn't have some sort of a reaction, because as you said you don't want to put something on your face that you have no idea what it is. if nothing happens and it's your color, then i would say use it, but next time buy it online from mac!

Macs Pigment
How many MAC Pigment colours are there altogether?
Just the POWDER not glitter.
This calls for a kind of vague answer, only because MAC releases alot of pigments through limited edition collections, so the pigments exist but are no longer for sale. There are 20 colors on the regular MAC site that aren't LE. In addtion, there are 14 LE pigments on there right now. MAC also has PRO pigments, available only in pro stores or online to MAC PRO members. They have 44 PRO colors right now. Total that's 78, plus old LE colors that are only available on swapping sites or EBAY now.
