Makeup False Eyelashes

false eyelashes for my prom today, how to apply, when, will they stay on?

i brought some MAC false eyelashes, although i didn't buy the glue as i was going to use my friend's later at her house.

though i've now found out you should apply the lashes first thing before the rest of your makeup so i might go down to boots to buy some glue to apply them with.

how do you apply them? and i start my makeup and hair at two in order to be ready by 4:30

but the actual prom doesn't start until seven. So, are they likely to stay on for the entire night? How can I make sure they do :/ ??

they will stay on for the whole night
i've been to quite a 'wild' gig and mine have stayed on
they should have instructions but if not something like
apply the glue along the base
close your eye and line the lashes up with the corner or your eye (inner corner, near your nose)
press down carefully but firmly then press down the rest of the fake lash following you eyelid carefully
you can use the end of a makeup brush to push down as well
open your eye and press your lashes against the fake lashes to make sure they're line up
apply mascara

How can I get my Bare Escentuals Brushes back to normal (after cleaning them)?

I just cleaned my BE brushes (Full Coverage Kabuki, Flawless Face, Blush Brush) with a mild shampoo (Dove; used conditioner as well, but have since rewashed the Kabuki with shampoo only), as suggested by many. When they were dry, I noticed that all of them have lost their "firmness". The bristles are way too soft, and the Kabuki brush no longer feels firm and solid, which makes buffing the minerals into the skin nearly impossible. I called the BE store (no solution there) and BE directly, who told me that I should have used their special shampoo.

I wanted to know if this has ever happened to anyone else and how I can get the brushes back to the way they were before I washed them.

Dove has too much moisturizer, try using baby shampoo, and towel drying (easily) they should be fine, just don't use moisturizing shampoo anymore

Is it ok to wear black mascara with brown eyeliner?

I tend to find that black eyeliner is too heavy for me as i have blue eyes and pale skin but would I just be better off with a brown mascara with brown eyeliner?

Also would i be better with a liquid or a pencil? x

It's absolutely alright to wear black mascara with brown liner. Black mascara suits almost everybody, unless someone is incredibly pale. And brown liner is a good choice if you want a soft look.
As for the type of eye liner, I personally prefer pencils or gels. Liquid liners are a little difficult to deal with. For softer definition go with a pencil liner. But if you want a more neat bold or precise line, instead of liquid, I 'd suggest gel liners as they are easier to control. Hope this helps.

Does anyone know of a lip conditioner, lip balm, or lip chap for sevberly dry dry lips?

I live in ALberta Canda where there is no moisture and my lips are soo dry they bleed all the time. Does anyone know anything that I can order or buy or make that works. The thing is that if I put anything too rich or heavy on my lips then they break out in cold sores....?????

.If you think you have severe dry and flacky lips first exfoliate them , exfoliate by brushing your lips with a soft brush, some people apply Vaseline and gently brush their lips , and some use lemon juice and salt/suger as a scrub or you can use scrub that are easily available in the market(Mary Kay has nice scrubs for lips) .
Keep your lips moist all the time,buy a lip balm(Mary Kay or loreal or maballine) or simply use Vaseline , &dont forget applying lip balm before going to bed.

I'm using Clinique's Perfectly Real Make Up foundation. A beauty expert told me Clinique has the best foundations. I've tried L'oreal, Maybelline and Max Factor's foundations in the past. My skin is very pale, by the way.

I can't wear eyeshadow on my eyelids because it causes allergies and I have tried at least 5 different brands of eyeshadow, even hypoalergenic eyeshdaow and it still caused allergies. Then i tried blush... it didn't make my eyes all watery and puffy an I have no clue why?
